2020 MDJRS Fall League

Maryland Juniors Fall League

MDJRS OFFERS WELL-ORGANIZED VOLLEYBALL LEAGUES IN A RANGE OF SKILL LEVELS FROM RECREATIONAL TO COMPETITIVE. 

Time
September 7th - October 27th, 8 weeks
Divisions 
JV - 16 teams (Monday night, 6:00/7:15)) - CHECK SCHEDULE HERE
Varsity - 24 teams (Tuesday night, 6:00/7:15)) - CHECK SCHEDULE HERE
Format
  • 6 vs 6, maximum 10 players and 1 coach/team rep per team.
  • 8 weeks league, 6 weeks of pool plays and 2 weeks of playoffs (all teams head to playoffs)
  • 1 match per week, 2 sets to 25 and 1 set to 15.
Cost
  • $360 per team (referee fees included) 
  • Full team fees are accepted only, individual player payments are not accepted
  • Payments can be turned in at sports center or mailed to 14105 Punch Street, Silver Spring, MD 20906 by September 1st.

Balls
Warm up balls and game balls will be sanitized and provided for each team. 
Forfeits 
If a team is unable to field a team within 10 minutes of the scheduled game time the game will be forfeited. Forfeited games will not be rescheduled.

Cancelling and Refund
You may request to cancel and get a refund by September 4th.

Covid-19 Safety Standards

1. Temperature Checks
 All players and coaches will be temperature-checked at entrance.  Checklists and waivers need to be signed or turn in at the front desk. 
2. Hand Sanitizer
Hand sanitizer will be provided for each court
3. Face masks
Masks are required to enter the facility, during warm-ups off the sidelines and breaks from play.  When high intense volleyball related activities occurs on the court, masks are recommended but not required. Mask policy is strictly followed by the Howard County Park and Rec guidelines. 
4. Social Distance 
Please maintain social distancing while you are in the building at all times.
5. No Spectators 
Each team can have one coach or team rep on the bench. In addition, one parent allowed videotaping or live streaming for their own team.
No other spectators allowed.
